Note to self.

Dear Lindsay Dawn Case,

Start writing again. 
For yourself 
& for those few people who have said that a post effected them in some way.
 
Just because EVERYONE seems to be getting married doesn't mean you need to be.
You are young.
& recently got out of a four year relationship.
No need to rush anything.

Stop chasing people.

Don't let others judge you
or tell you how to live your life.
You know who you are,
which is awesome.

Keep your standards high
because you always have.

Keep being a good example.
Keep helping those around you,
because that is what you are best at.

Never settle for less than you deserve.
Keep your expectations high.

Make sure he fights for you
& never takes you for granted.
You've learned too much from past relationships.

Hike,
camp,
make fires,
go to movies,
go to concerts,
& longboard.
even if you have to do it alone.
Do the things you love.

Read an entire book in one day.
Be a nerd.
Who cares.

Keep being the girl that laughs at everything
& knows how to have fun without being stupid.

Keep smiling,
because you've been told your smile is contagious,
even if you are faking it.

Take a chance.
Because you never know how absolutely perfect something could turn out to be.
Don’t hold onto anger, hurt or pain. 

DON'T YOU DARE GIVE UP!
Life will get better,
it always does.
You truly know that EVERYTHING happens for a reason.
